We all assume our significant other, who loves and cherishes us (at least to our face), is not talking shit behind our backs – right? And actually loves us?

Not always, unfortunately.

The recording below from the ATTO Digital Voice Recorder is just one of the pieces of the horrible person we uncovered when we went looking.

What tipped her off that he may not be the amazing and sweet guy she thought he was? She had looked at his Twitter account one night and discovered he had followed about 15-20 college age girls, all very slutty, and was talking with them. (This guy was 34 at the time!) This was something he had explicitly promised her he would not do in a serious conversation not two weeks before.

After that she contacted me and we got to work seeing who this guy really was.

After much planning we hid the digital voice recorder in her garage. She had kicked him out (what she thought would only be temporary at the time) after discovering some small things, and he was coming to pick up a few more of his items.

On this same day he was texting her sweet things – it was Mother’s Day – and they were planning a cozy night in watching their favorite T.V. show at her place. At the very same time he is saying the things in this recording:

It’s hard to hear sometimes, these are the main take away moments:

  • They lived together, and had 2 vacuums – so she was being nice, and left one for him if he wanted it. He didn’t, as you will hear.
  • Him complaining that he will have to “come back out here.” He was texting her at the same time planning to come back to her place that very evening, happily.
  • Him bragging about how much sex he’s had on his bed, and something he didn’t want her to find out?
  • Him taking a guitar stand that was in her garage that he knows is not his.

It’s easy to see what a mean-spirited and awful person he is just listening to the tone of his voice. Plus the fact that during this time he’s texting her sweet things and planning their evening together – what a psychopath!

All in all we discovered that he had been cheating on her with someone he works with for months! (phone tracking – including SnapChat!) She also found out he had given her an STD, and that he had been searching and watching “step-daughter, step-dad” porn on his computer. (Key logger) They lived together, and she has a 13 year old daughter!

She was planning on marrying this man. She loved him very much, as did her whole family. Everyone thought he was the nicest, sweetest all American (did I mention church-going and bible-reading?) guy ever.

Good thing she found out when she did, or she could have gone through with a wedding and been stuck with this jerk for life!
