I’m sure you know – there is a whole slew of apps for cell phones that make it easy for cheaters to hide their actions, conversations, and pictures. AND there are a lot of articles out there talking about them.
This is my attempt to keep up you up to date on all of them. So if a new one rears it’s ugly cheating head you’ll be the first to know!
I will continue to post updates to the blog any time I find new ones! (Because they’re always coming up with new ones once we figure out the old ones…sigh…) Please leave a comment if you know of a new one. I will keep posting as often as necessary.
My personal favorite, and the one that gave me the truth about a man I had been considering marrying and I had just let him move in with me and my kids! (He clearly didn’t know who he was dealing with…even though I told him…)
Vaulty Apps – An App that is a folder – to hide things in, like pics, but it looks like AND functions like a calculator. The only clue is that it will look slightly different than the actual calculator. (The blue lock sign is actually an equal sign on the app.)
The only tip off I got was the equal button was a different color.
He was already caught on a dating app the same day so when I saw the calculator on his phone I just handed him back his phone and said “open this.” Shockingly, he did! Revealing Snapchat images of himself hard, and other girl’s boobs from snap chatting with them, as well as creeper pics of a good friend of his. Thankfully the girl who he was snap chatting with was all tatted up so I knew who it was. I wonder how her husband would react to knowing my ex has this going on with her…

All you do is type the password into the calculator and it will open the folder. If you type the wrong thing, it just acts like a calculator. There are a handful of other apps like this. Just search “vault” apps in the app store or google play store.
Vault Apps:
Cover Me – a robust professional cheating app that uses VOIP from your own phone – nothing goes through the main account so even the bill won’t show the messages or phone calls. (which isn’t exactly new – however ->) If you need to lock your private messages on the fly, simply shake your phone while on the app. The texting app will then hide texts from any prying eyes. And of course, you can hide the icon on your phone. You will really have to be looking hard to catch someone using this app, sadly. But at least if you find it you know without a doubt you are dealing with a mega-cheater.
Everyone knows that Whatsap, Viber, and Kik are an apps using a 3rd party servers so you can’t retrieve text messages or track them. But have you met their big brother TigerText?? It’s the same basic idea – but this app is so encrypted it is HIIPA compliant! There’s no way anyone will get these texts. Even though you won’t be able to recover the texts at least you know you are once again dealing with a pro-cheater. Also – I think it’s worth mentioning – in case you don’t know – Viber can password (pin) protect whole conversations. So if you open the app on your partner’s phone you may not even see it. They have to enter a pin and then the hidden or secret chats come up.
Signal is a new one one the market that also hides messages, pin protects messages, and can delete messages when you close the app. All you have to do is set a time limit that text messages appear from a certain person and they will disappear *even* if they haven’t read them yet. So no message will even be sitting in there that you could come across that they haven’t read yet.
Fox Private Message is similar to all of the above – it has the shake function as well.
The only hint you may ever have is that your S.O. suddenly shakes their phone when you walk in the room to delete messages or close the app they are using.
Now you see why I have this website and this passion. There is a whole genre of digital tools out there for cheating. Cheating has never been easier, or easier to hide. This is not fair or right. It’s not fair for you to be 100% in love, living what you are thinking is the dream life and that is not reality at all.
You deserve to know the truth.
And this world needs more honesty – and apparently that means catching cheaters so they stop thinking they can get away with it!

On a lighter note all parents should check out Nosy Trap! This is a great app to see who’s trying to get into your phone. Just install it and leave your phone around. If someone picks it up to check out your stuff the app starts to record using the front facing camera and catches the person red handed! 🙂 I can’t wait to catch my little spies in the making! (I will have to be a little bit proud though.)
